Important Note:

This is one of the few resorts that we decided to review without actually spending a night at the resort. We decided to write this review because we feel we had a thorough look at the hotel and spoke with enough employees and travelers to confidently write this review. Furthermore, we were shown multiple rooms and feel confident with our review based on what we witnessed.

Location:

The hotel is located on the north coast of Pattaya called Naklua Bay, within close walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The resort is located far enough from the main road to be quiet in the evenings. If you want to stay in the main Pattaya area, this hotel is a bad choice as it is on Naklua Bay and not Pattaya Bay. Pattya Bay is traditionally associated with any discussions on Pattaya, Thailand such as Walking Street, Beach Road and other Pattaya attractions. However, if you are looking for a quieter place to stay in Pattaya, this location works. Depending on what you are looking for, this location can be good or bad.

Room Comfort:

We were shown deluxe and superior rooms and both types of rooms were old and run down. Although their brochure stated that their rooms are newly refurbished, the rooms we were shown were either already showing signs of aging or were not refurbished. We did notice some nice rooms by the pool which may have been refurbished. The rooms were spacious and all had modern amenities such as flat screen TV's, air conditioning, in room safes, Internet connection and toiletries. The rooms we were shown were not worth the price they were charging.

Cleanliness:

The rooms seemed clean; however, the bathroom tiles had mould in spots. The resort lobby and grounds were clean and well maintained.

Service:

The service we received from the hotel staff was good. They provided us with a few options of accommodations and explained what the resort had to offer, such as breakfast, onsite restaurant, a pool, and so on. We did hear from other travelers that the service could be better as some travelers weren't getting their free bottles of water on a daily basis.

Food:

We did not have any meals at the resort so we can't comment on it.

Overall Value:

For a luxury hotel, it's not very luxurious compared to other Thai hotels. Pattaya has a lot of options for accommodations and this resort is a poor option for the area. The price charged for the rooms isn't justified and is in fact overpriced for the area.  Since the hotel caters to tour groups who bring their clients to this hotel, they have less incentive to upkeep their rooms. Furthermore, tour operators get a substantial discount on the rack rate so booking a room on your own isn't worth it. We normally recommend to stay clear of those hotels that cater to tour operators as we find the management and staff don't take as much pride or care of the hotel or their guests since they don't have to work as hard to bring in the guests. This hotel is no exception. With so many hotels in Pattaya, you could stay in better hotels or resorts for half the price.
